Thanks to our philosophy based on the principle of Students Helping Students, we have created a unique collaboration between university and high school students. At TutorYou we believe that no one knows better the process of applying to university than someone who has just been through it.
UCAS registered Centre and University Counseling for the application process:
As a UCAS registered Centre we assist students with their UCAS applications and their university degree choice due to our Office Services and our Global Students Network. Through our Global Students Network – a community of university students around the world – we pair students with undergraduates who are studying in a University or a subject of interest to the student. In this way, the tutor can guide the student through the process of course choice and application in the smoothest way possible. Moreover, all UCAS applications are monitored by our University supervisor. Eventually, the student has the opportunity to visit his mentor directly on campus to get a grasp of the university environment.
TutorYou offers extensive preparation services to apply to UK, US and European Universities, including Personal Statement, TOK, and Extended Essays guidance, as well as interview preparation.
We assign a personal tutor (IB graduate, current university student) to students who are looking into building their pathway to university. The tutor will assist the student in: University and Course Choice, writing of Personal Statement, gathering of documents (reference letter, predicted grades…) as well as completing the application on UCAS.
Global Student Network:
Our latest project is the creation of the Global Students Network; this is a community of university students around the world, creating a strong link between the continents. By keeping in touch, members of the network are able to communicate across diverse Countries and Universities. The Global Network is also useful for High School students who are unsure about their future. Whether they have any questions or doubts about certain universities, or whether they want to visit some, they will be able to get in direct contact with a student from the university they are interested in and eventually meet him/her directly on campus if they wish with guided university visits.
We attend the most important Education events in Italy and Europe, such as SRT fair, Unitour fair, British Council fair “Study in the UK”, and EDUEXPO and ICEF Berlin and Higher Education fair. Furthermore, we support our Partner Universities during events, such as QS World Grad School Tour, EDUEXPO, British Council Fair, Job Orienta, QS World University Tour and Unitour also providing them with the support of our tutors at their University stand.
We also organise workshops for prospective university students in a range of schools. Our tutors, enrolled undergraduates, share their experiences, explain how UCAS works and present a number of Universities. During these occasions, we invite representatives from various universities to present their institutions and courses, and have the opportunity of engaging with students. Our goal is to keep students in contact worldwide, exchanging advice, and sharing experiences.
