IUBH University of Applied Sciences 3rd Innovation Conference

IUBH University of Applied Sciences 3rd Innovation Conference

Following on from the ICEF Berlin Workshop, TutorYou was invited on the 7th of November, to attend the 3rd Innovation Conference at IUBH University of Applied Sciences.

IUBH has campuses in Berlin, Bad Honnef, Killarney and Dublin.  They offer undergraduate and postgraduate courses including: Hospitality Management, Aviation Management, International Management, Health Care and Finance and Accounting.

All courses also include free German lessons! A fantastic initiative which allows students to develop not only their English skills, but also another language, equipping them for the world wide work place. Class sizes are small and so you have greater contact with your professors, all of whom are experienced lecturers in the area in which they are teaching.

On the day of the conference, we began the morning by visiting the Berlin campus and having talks from professors, career services and current and past students. We then took a boat tour along the beautiful river Spree, along which the University is situated. This gave us the chance to chat with International students from IUBH and find out why they chose to study here in the capital of Germany.  What I gained from the day, was a real insight into how nurturing the University seemed. The professors are very invested in the students and there was a sense of family and belonging. They have a great support system, especially for mater and MBA students, helping them develop professionally and be prepared for the more formal world of work.

Get in touch with TutorYou today if you are interested in applying to this great University and kick starting your career in Business!
