ASK FOR A TUTOR
All of our tutors have been selected from among the top International Baccalaureate graduates. They are not only experienced in their particular subject, but in the wider ethos of the IB program: they have therefore developed and ultimately absorbed the ethical and moral principles of the International Baccalaureate. This means that they inspire an attitude of academic honesty to the students, along with all the other core requirements that are the backbone of the IB student’s personal development. Moreover, they have studied or are studying at some of the world’s most prestigious universities.
They are passionate about providing educational services that meet a student’s individual needs, whilst remaining consistent with the IB principles of enquiry learning and academic honesty. Such attributes are evaluated, and underlined as imperative, whenever interviewing a new tutor.
All tutors are available to tutor via Skype, and many are also available to tutor in person, with ‘one-to-one’ sessions. The Skype sessions are carried out on a shared e-learning platform. This is particularly useful for subjects such as maths, physics and chemistry. Each session is downloaded, reported and acknowledged and, on request, can be reviewed and evaluated by teachers. All of our tutors are closely monitored and carefully follow the current and updated subject programmes. Please do not esitate to contact us for more information, firstname.lastname@example.org
Our programs offer IB, A/AS Level, MYP and IGCSE students the opportunity to achieve their full potential in all IB, A/AS level, MYP and IGCSE subjects by working closely with their own personal tutor who will provide bespoke, tailored, educational support to suit the individual IB requirements of their tutee. All of our tutors, which are now more than 250, are top IB or A levels graduates. They are now studying at, or have graduated from, some of the most prestigious universities in the world. They have therefore developed and ultimately absorbed the ethical and moral principles of the International Baccalaureate. This means that they inspire an attitude of academic honesty to the students, along with all the other core requirements that are the backbone of the IB student’s personal development.
We organize IB and GCSE Summer, Fall, Spring Revision Courses as well as pre-IB Revision Courses during which our tutors help students, sharing their experiences, thus consolidating their knowledge before the exam. Our tutors go through the syllabus with the students, making sure to switch between past papers – in exam conditions – and all students’ questions on specific topics. The structure of each revision course is really personalized and tailored based on the student’s needs. Each subject is fully review in 3 days for a total of 18 hours in groups of maximum 4 students and a tutor. Moreover, we offer courses for each subjects and grade in order to put students which are on the same level together.
Our University Counselling relies on assigning a personal tutor (IB or A/As Level graduate, current university student) to students who are looking into building their pathway to university. We believe that no one knows better the process of application than someone who has just been through it. TutorYou offers extensive preparation services to apply to UK, US and European Universities; we will assist the student in: University and Course Choice, writing of Personal Statement, gathering of documents (reference letter, predicted grades…) as well as completing the application on UCAS. TutorYou is a UCAS Center.
